Mid-Level C++ Developer - Computer Vision

Location: Remote work (Based in the Wroclaw area)

Start Date: ASAP

We're in search of a Mid-Senior-Level Engineer with a strong background in C++ and Image Processing, as well as a good understanding of Matlab. Join our team and develop computer vision algorithms for factory automation. You will utilize a custom made computer vision library and enhance existing algorithms as well as refactor prototype implementations and turn them into factory grade code.

Your work will be integral to our customer - a top US Tech company, significantly influencing the quality of their consumer electronics devices sold globally in large volumes.

You'll engage directly with various customer stakeholders within an agile environment. We're looking for someone with a hands-on, proactive approach, coupled with effective communication skills.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mathematics, Physics or a related field (master’s degree preferred).

- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in C++, with a preference for those experienced in computer vision applications.

- Proficiency in C++, including experience with modern standards (C++17 and above).

- Good understanding of MATLAB (to understand existing algorithms) and experience with Python

- Ability to work independently, analyze and troubleshoot software issues, along with the capability to propose effective technical solutions.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effective customer interaction.

Nice-to-have:

- Familiarity with multithreading and GPU programming.

- Knowledge of Objective-C

- Understanding of software development for Linux and/or MacOS

Experience in the following areas is advantageous:
