Job Description

The Equities – Prime Services technology team is seeking a technically oriented individual to join the Outsourcing trading technology team.

Primary focus on this role would be to design, develop and support strategic trading system buildout to cater to the Outsourcing trading user base globally.

The individual will also be involved in greenfield project build out for outsourcing trading fixed income platform. This is a NY position, and we require the candidate to be onsite 3 days a week with no exceptions.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

• This role entails hands-on coding responsibilities in core java, spring, and spring boot related frameworks.
• Develop, test, and maintain multiple Outsourcing trading foundation and functional products.
• Working closely with technology leads to implement functional trading components that contribute to the outsourcing trading product suite.
• Work closely with the global stakeholders for all strategic product rollouts and partake in user support.
• Contribute to the DevOps stream as a part of the product buildout and adhere to the CI/CD protocols.
  
  

Qualifications/ Experience

• 10+ years of coding experience in core Java, Spring framework and messaging framework
• Experience building distributed and enterprise application.
• Strong understanding of design patterns
• Strong SQL knowledge, experience with Redis, Kafka, Snowflake is a plus.
• Experience in working with real time processing applications and analytics platform is a plus.
• Jira, Bit Bucket & Bamboo, CI/CD & DevOps, GitHub Copilot understanding is a plus.
• AWS working experience is a desired.
• Experience in deploying services into Kubernetes platforms – good to have.
• Experience with Python is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to run projects independently collaborating with other technology peers.
