Job Description

We are seeking a Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance software solutions.

  • You will play a key role in developing backend components, optimizing system architecture, and working on cloud-based and containerized environments.
  • This role requires strong problem-solving skills, experience with CI/CD pipelines, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions across the entire software stack.
  • Lead significant projects and major features, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and vendor packages, providing technical recommendations as needed.
  • Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and management to meet project goals.
  • Contribute to a growing, fast-paced, and highly flexible development team.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on Python.

Skills

  • backend technologies such as Python, Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), AWS, SQL & NoSQL databases, and message queues.
  • multi-threading/tasking applications.
  • scalable and highly available systems.
  • CI/CD environments and test-driven development (TDD).
  • AWS-based systems.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in a startup environment.
  • Experience with distributed architecture, microservices, REST APIs, and message queues.
  • Exposure to computer vision systems and AI-driven products.
  • Experience with video streaming, media servers, and video systems.
  • Familiarity with technologies like GitLab, InfluxDB, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, PyTorch, AWS (SQS, CloudFront, Lambda, EKS).
