Cybersecurity Engineer

eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for a Cybersecurity Engineer. This is a day rate contractposition located with our client in Dublin 2. This is a hybrid positionrequiring 2 days on siteper week. Contract initial duration is24 month with possible further extensions.

Responsibilities

• Assist operational teams in developing runbooks and procedures
• Delivery accurate and timely security review reports on incidents and events
• Participate in security testing as directed by the Risk officer
• Monitor and report on SIEM events and trends
• Actively contribute to ongoing reporting requirements of the Cybersecurity team
• Contribute to cross team projects as a source of security information and opinion
  
  

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience of Security Operations in a FinTech or Public Sector environment.
• Experience of stakeholder communication and management
• Experience of monitoring in any or all of the following environments
• Web Services
• Infrastructure (network, Windows, Linux, database)
• Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Evidence of experience with runbook or procedure generation and assessment
• Report writing and delivery of results
• Working as part of a team to deliver effective response
• PowerShell / Bash / Python scripting experience would be considered beneficial

Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or currently hold a Stamp 1G/4 Visa to apply.
