Position Title - Junior Software Engineer (React/Redux)

Hiring Mode - Contract

Project Duration - 4 months + Extendable

Remote or Hybrid - Hybrid (3 days office)

Address of client location (if Hybrid) - Riga, Latvia

Mandatory Skills

Strong technical knowledge of React / Redux

  • Experience with Version Control tools (Git, CVS, etc…)
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux

Strong Problem Detection, Troubleshooting Skills And Analytical Abilities

  • Technical knowledge and experience with Java development is a plus
  • Technical knowledge of scripting languages (PERL, Bash, C-Shell, etc…) is a plus

Job Duties

  • Build high-performance, scalable, robust client applications
  • Work very closely with development groups, business liaison teams, operations staf f ,

quality assurance teams, IT security group and server administration groups on

various activities related to application integration and system enhancements

  • Participate in application architecture and design review
  • Participate in development, testing, implementation, and support of various

enhancements to the systems, services and technologies

  • Produce functional application documentation
  • Provide third level support on application integration issues

Competencies

  • Ability to work well with others in a team-based environment
  • Experience in a fast-paced f inancial market data environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • High motivation level and attention to detail
  • Ability to complete projects on time with minimal supervision
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and tools
