We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Senior Project Manager. Reporting to the IT Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing the information technology projects and processes in our organization in Iberia.

What will you do on a day-to-day

• Execute plans for improved business functions through technological advances.
• Define common project management methodology based on project management best practices tailored with GXO own IT project lifecycle framework
• Manage more complex projects, including the staff assigned, during the course of a project - checking against the initial requirements.
• Establish the contribution that technology can make to business objectives using a range of techniques such as producing business models, preparing business cases, usability requirements analysis and usability evaluation.
• Identifying and obtaining agreement on the requirements/features which will be most beneficial to the business.
• Ensuring compliance with agreed best practices by selecting appropriately from applicable standards, methods, tools and applications.
• Identifying and raising issues impacting the execution of strategic/operational/ project.
• Understanding overall Enterprise Architecture and assess the degree of conformance of existing and new business processes.
• Communicating fluently orally and in writing, presenting complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Planning, scheduling, and monitoring work to meet time and quality targets and in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Liaise with the IT corporate team and act as a business relationship leader.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• 5 years of proven experience in IT Project Management through the end-to-end Project Lifecycle (Experience in the Logistics Business is a plus)
• High level of English (C1) & Spanish written and spoken
• Stakeholder relationship management o Business Analysis; gathering and documenting requirements, design test scripts and execution of testing phase.
• Excellent written and verbal skills o Ability to influence others
