Software Engineer

Database Management Services core areas are:

• Database administration of onprem Oracle, Postgres and SQL server database engines in CUSTOMER.
• Database performance analysis.
• Oracle Data Replication.
• Monitoring solutions and tools.
• Database migrations.

The scope of the consultant services is to assist CUSTOMER in developing and moving our monitoring architecture/capability to our new observability platform, establish observability capabilities.

Support our team in the automation journey, executing on automation use cases.

Desired knowledge, experience, competence, skills etc:

• Consumer centric mindset in new service development and enhancements of existing services.
• Highly skilled Oracle and Postgres DBA experience and competence
• Extensive experience in automation and configuration management using Grafana and Ansible, integrating Grafana with data sources like Prometheus
• Customize dashboards for database and infrastructure health monitoring
• Expertise in setting up performance monitoring dashboards, automating workflows, and ensuring system reliability and scalability
• Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting for automation, writing and maintaining Ansible playbooks for database automation.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills reinforced by structured problem-solving approach.
