ROLE SUMMARY

The Graphic Designer is responsible for directing and overseeing the creation of visual merchandising designs, concepts, and sample layouts, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.

ROLE PROFILE

• Participate in the development of the business unit's creative strategy by providing input from the perspective of graphic design, ensuring that relevant goals and objectives are incorporated.
• Review the budget requirements of the graphic design function and participate in the development of the brand's budget.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer need in other Majid Al Futtaim Fashion brands and stores, if not available in-store.
• Plan and implement graphic design elements in large-scale executions such as creative campaigns, store takeovers, in-store setups, pop-up stores, mall podiums, and marketing collaterals.
• Ensure the implementation of and conformance to established visual merchandising and store graphic design policies and procedures, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Build strong partnerships with members of the cross-functional teams such as buyers and visual merchandisers, strengthening internal customer relationships.
• Creation of designs, creative concepts, and sample layouts.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, commercial art, or graphic design.
• 4-5 years of experience as a graphic designer.
• Experience in the retail industry is an advantage.
• Must have an agency or retail background.
• ATL & BTL experience is required.
