Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with expertise in healthcare data and analytics. This role requires an individual who can leverage advanced data science techniques, statistical analysis, and machine learning models to solve complex problems in the healthcare domain. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with expertise in healthcare data and analytics. This role requires an individual who can leverage advanced data science techniques, statistical analysis, and machine learning models to solve complex problems in the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in data science, along with hands-on experience in healthcare-related projects, to develop actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making in a healthcare setting.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, or a related field is required.
- A Master’s degree in a similar field is preferred.
- Certifications in data science, machine learning, or AI (e.g., TensorFlow Developer Certificate, IBM Data Science Certification) are highly desirable.
- At least 5 years of experience in data science, including developing predictive models and deploying machine learning solutions.
- Proven experience working with healthcare data or addressing healthcare-specific analytics use cases, such as patient data analysis, clinical decision support, healthcare operations, or population health analytics.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced statistical analysis, data visualization, and AI-powered decision support tools, with the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards in healthcare, such as HIPAA or other compliance frameworks, is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in data science tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and tools like TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or similar.
- Expertise in statistical methods, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms, specifically in the context of healthcare applications.
- Ability to work with structured and unstructured healthcare data, including EHR (Electronic Health Records), claims data, medical imaging, and patient outcome data.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights for a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of healthcare-specific databases and tools (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or similar healthcare information systems) is a plus.
