We are seeking highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (ELK Expert) to join our team and contribute to the growth and maintenance of Logboard, a log monitoring platform based on the ELK stack.
The ideal candidates will bring significant expertise in ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), possess hands-on experience in log ingestion, storage, and visualization, and demonstrate strong operational capabilities in Linux environments.

The ideal candidates will bring significant expertise in ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), possess hands-on experience in log ingestion, storage, and visualization, and demonstrate strong operational capabilities in Linux environments.
Tasks
Service Delivery:
- Administer and configure the ELK platform.
- Develop log collection and indexation scripts.
- Maintain and enhance ELK instances deployed in Azure environments.
- Design and implement new log ingestion pipelines (e.g., Logstash, Filebeat).
- Create and manage storage solutions for logs (Elasticsearch and indexing).
- Develop dashboards in Kibana to provide actionable insights.
- Implement alerting features on the ELK stack.
- Define and deliver the platform onboarding strategy.
- Conduct studies to enhance end-to-end observability solutions.
- Develop and execute onboarding scripts for platform integrations.
- Collaborate on the strategic roadmap for monitoring solutions.
- Work with tools such as Terraform, Puppet, and Git for deployment and configuration.
- Provide task breakdowns, development estimates, and operational input.
- Contribute to OpenTelemetry implementation for enhanced observability.
- ELK Stack: Proficiency in Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana for configuration, development, and operations.
- Log Monitoring: Hands-on experience in creating log ingestion pipelines, indexation, and dashboard creation.
- Linux Operations: Strong expertise in managing Linux-based environments.
- Azure Cloud: Experience with cloud-based deployments using Azure.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with Terraform and Puppet for automation.
- Version Control: Proficiency in Git for source control and collaborative development.
- Portugal resident (mandatory).
