Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the IT portfolio within the agricultural biotechnology domain. This role involves managing multiple IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving the successful delivery of technology solutions that support the company's strategic goals.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in IT portfolio management, preferably within the agricultural biotechnology sector.
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and security best practices in the IT domain.
• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management.
• Experience in the agricultural biotechnology OR R&D sector is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams and complex projects.

Preferred Certifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• SAFe Agilist Certification
• ITIL Foundation certification & DevOps foundation are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Portfolio Management: Oversee the IT portfolio, ensuring projects are aligned with business objectives and strategic goals.
• Project Oversight: Manage multiple IT projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and ensure project alignment with business priorities.
• Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively across projects, ensuring optimal utilization and balancing competing demands.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT projects, ensuring proactive measures are in place to address potential issues.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and report on progress to senior management.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and the adoption of best practices in project management.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Budget Management: Manage the IT portfolio budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure all IT projects comply with regulatory requirements and adhere to security best practices.
