Engineering Manager

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Engineering Manager to join our Core team. With 500,000 users across the globe using our tool daily, we are constantly working on product improvements and leveraging opportunities to scale further.

In this role, you will lead a team of passionate engineers and contribute to cloud migration Some of the amazing challenges include integrating with third-party document providers, optimizing and improving in-house algorithms for document processing, and increasing the release cadence to deliver new features more frequently, all while maintaining the performance and reliability of our desktop platform.

What You Will Do

• Lead a team of smart and highly motivated Software Engineers
• Actively work on the career growth of your team while setting clear objectives and addressing performance issues if they arise
• Make architectural and technical decisions to drive product development.
• Contribute hands-on to coding and code reviews as needed
• Guide the team in adopting best practices for software design and agile development.
• Support the migration of features from desktop to cloud platforms
• Support our company’s operations by teaming up with your product colleagues to build a clear product roadmap
• Team up with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure to building solutions that add customer value
  
  

What You Bring

• At least 3 years of experience leading and managing a team (systematic 101s, feedback sessions, performance reviews, professional development etc.)
• At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work effectively in an ever-changing scale-up environment
• BS or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Strong proficiency in OOP languages, such as C#, Java, Go, or C++.
• Experience working on desktop software development projects.
• Strong software design skills with a solid understanding of best practices and design patterns.
• Proven track record of contributing to a commercially successful product
• Exposure to and experience working with cloud-based platforms
  
  

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience developing VSTO add-ins for Microsoft Office products.
• Hands-on experience with migrating desktop software to cloud platforms, including an understanding of the associated technical challenges.
