About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Node.js Developer with a strong background in AWS Serverless technologies, including AWS Lambda and Step Functions. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-efficient serverless applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business objectives and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development:
• Design and develop backend services and APIs using Node.js within a serverless framework.
• Create and manage AWS Lambda functions for real-time, event-driven architectures.
• Implement AWS Step Functions for orchestrating complex workflows.
• Serverless Architecture:
• Architect serverless solutions utilizing AWS services, including but not limited to Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, and Step Functions.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency in a serverless environment.
• Integration & Deployment:
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of serverless applications.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external systems into serverless workflows.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create high-quality solutions.
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Technical Expertise:
• Proficient in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong experience with AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS services like API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS.
• Experience designing event-driven architectures and working with serverless frameworks.
• Software Development Practices:
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency in debugging and optimizing serverless applications.
• Team Collaboration:
• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.
• Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
