Business Analyst

We are seeking a Business Analyst who excels in leveraging the latest technology trends to drive business growth and optimize operations. This role requires a

skilled problem-solver with expertise in data-driven decision-making, advanced automation, and strategic business insights. The ideal candidate will be adept at

translating complex requirements into impactful solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs in a fast-paced technological environment

• Documenting requirements, defining scope and objectives, and designing systems aligned with business strategies.

• Translating customer requirements into user stories and high-quality software designs.

• Advising on process improvements and IT automation strategies.

• Creating workflow diagrams and charts; analyzing system capabilities and writing specifications.

• Maintain and prioritize requirements backlogs, collaborating closely with stakeholders to clarify and refine customer inquiries.

• Studying current practices to suggest system modifications for improvement.

• Supporting team efforts and contributing to the achievement of team goals

Required skills:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of the following fields, or a related area like Engineering, Computer Science or Information Management

• Minimal 2-5 years of relevant experience.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.

• Ability to engage with and challenge business process owners constructively, translating complex requirements into actionable solutions.

• Experience in managing stakeholder expectations and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.

• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure DevOps

• Certified in either IREB, BCS, BABOK, BISL, ISQI

• Preferably experienced in various industries (Public, Financial Services, Manufacturing, etc.).

• Knowledge of BPM, UML, Workflowdiagrams, TOGAF

• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken

• Knowledge of APIs, integration tools, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is advantageous
