What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
Successfully support multiple transactional, proactive, and/or reactive projects with PDCA approach using continuous improvement methods such as Six Sigma (DMAIC, DMADV), Lean (thinking, office, manufacturing), Shainin or Red X, Kaizen, through its effective application, having as key responsibilities:
- Act as continuous improvement and innovation project manager practicing ownership and accountability ensuring initiation, progress and completion of project deliverables, focusing on execution and communicating progress, status and issues to executives and business leaders.
- Work closely with project teams, masters and business leaders, demonstrating ability to institutionalize Operational Excellence and Innovation mindset.
- Provide training in excellence and innovation methodologies. Actively contribute to the development and refinement of Operational Excellence best practices, models, and methods.
- Collaborate across teams and projects, and drive synergy toward common objectives.
- Serve as a change agent, promoting transformation initiatives.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
- Certification: Six Sigma Black Belt certification and experience is required.
- Language skills: Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- Background in Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Sales or transactional areas.
- Experience in Process Improvement, Innovation or Project/Program Management.
- Technological literacy, experience using statistical software tools such as Minitab, business intelligence software, Power BI and advanced excel.
- Agile certification, Design Thinking and/or Lean training is a plus.
- Creative thinking with growth and innovation mindset with a belief that ‘everything can be made better’.
- Systemic and analytical view of processes and organizations.
- Result oriented, with flexibility and agility.
- Demonstrate resilience, and adapt to challenging circumstances.
- Interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Self-starter that thrives in an entrepreneurial environment. Ability to take initiative, challenge the status quo, and drive innovation with limited oversight.
