This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Job Description

Our Engineering team has grown from 6 to over 100 in just 12 months, and we're continuing to scale. We've moved beyond the start-up phase and are seeking experienced Engineers to help us reach the next level. Our mission is to facilitate efficient patient access to life-changing medication and set new standards in cannabis care.

We’re Currently Working On Several Exciting Projects

• Implementing event-driven architecture via Kafka for a large re-architecture initiative.
• Transitioning to commoditized software solutions to enhance user experiences.
• Leveraging omni-channel inputs to improve service times for our patients.
• Conducting a comprehensive cloud re-architecture focusing on security and developer experience.
• Strategically rebuilding core applications to deliver best-in-class experiences.
  
  

The Tech Stack

• TypeScript
• Node.js (NestJS framework)
• React
• PostgreSQL/MySQL/DynamoDB for persistence
• A combination of ECS Fargate and Lambda for compute
  
  

Qualifications

You will be a self-starter who understands how to create scalable and maintainable code, demonstrate a growth mindset, and be comfortable working in a remote-first environment.

You Will Also Have

• Senior level experience in full-stack development, preferably in SaaS
• Proficiency in TypeScript, NodeJS, GraphQL, and React is essential
• Pragmatism in choosing solutions and flexibility in adjusting along the way
• Resourcefulness in finding minimal but viable solutions to new requirements
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical colleagues alike
• Professional experience with Node.js, cloud ecosystems such as AWS; CloudFront, SES, SQS, S3, Lambda etc
• Experience in SQL databases
• Keen interest and understanding of the medicinal cannabis industry is a strong plus
