Network Management System (NMS/OSS) Expert Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in technical field (e.g., MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field)
• 5+ years’ OSS/NMS experience in the telecommunications industry
• Strong knowledge in OSS Platforms and Applications with hands-on experience in supporting and managing
• Handling system management, fault management, configuration management and performance management issues.
• Good knowledge of Linux/Windows OS
• Good knowledge of Relational DBMS espacially in Oracle, MSSQL Server, PostgreSql
• Good knowledge of Container Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
• Basic knowledge of integration concepts like Snmp, SOAP/XML, Rest API
• Basic knowledge of networking technologies
• Fluent in English
• Having a valid driving license

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Investigate issues and perform tasks to ensure solutions continuously functioning within SLA terms.
• Share knowledge by verbal and written communication (internal support meetings, training sessions, documentation)
• Providing on-site support when necessary
• Support ticket handling within SLA requirements
• Gather knowledge for customer requirements and develop tools and scripts and prepare technical proposals for all clients.
• Ensure 24×7 support to all technical team and ensure efficient delivery of all projects.
• Pro-active approach on maintenance and comissioning issues, organizing and interfacing between customer and internal colleagues
• Ability to adopt new technologies
• Ensure interworking of OSS applications to multiple network Element are connected and all functions are working well (alarm sync, PM data sync, configuration Management etc.
