Sector Marketing Projects Lead 

The Sector Marketing Team is responsible for developing award-winning 360-degree campaigns that drive awareness of Abu Dhabi and visitation to the destination. Collectively we thrive when creating innovative and creative work that delivers outstanding business results.

We are looking for a Sector Marketing Projects Lead who would play a pivotal role in the planning process of Sector Marketing, ensuring successful delivery of projects. The role is responsible for managing the flow of work to ensure that projects are completed on time and flags are raised at the right time. The individual will need to work closely with Sector Marketing & Communications (SM&C) departments (Sector Marketing, Creative & Production, Strategic Comms, Planning strategy and Operations) to ensure that work flows efficiently through the organization from the initial brief to campaign going live. As the gatekeeper of the traffic process of projects, the Sector Marketing Projects Lead will ensure the campaigns process works flawlessly to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Project Management:

• Lead and manage Monday.com project management tool on behalf of (and in consultation with) the Sector Marketing Team – managing timelines and resourcing on all allocated production projects
• Ensure briefs, budgets and scopes are comprehensive and complete with key milestones for each brief
• Keep track of status of all projects via relevant Marketing Project Lead. Monitor projects to ensure that all projects are in line and meet the required quality standards, in consultation with other departments
• Flag when incoming urgent tasks will affect the delivery of existing projects and work with Sector Director and Section Heads to plan accordingly
• Initiate and maintain a weekly projects schedule, work in progress sheets and meetings to ensure work progression and status in up to date (and in consultation with) the Sector Marketing Team
• Plan resources in accordance with the needs of existing and upcoming campaigns. Keep track of workloads across the team, and when necessary, reallocate tasks accordingly after alignment with the Sector Director and Section Heads
• Identify pain points and bottlenecks and work closely with Marketing Project Leads to identify and implement prompt solutions
• Understand the roles and capabilities of each of the resources within the Sector Marketing Team
• Understand the marketing needs and objectives in collaboration with other department and sector teams
