Retail Product & Graphic designer

Supporting the Retail function on delivering best in class merchandise by designing product that

enhances the guest experience.

Accountable for the design of multi category retail product to be developed and sold within the

Harry Potter World expansion at Warner Brothers World Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities

Develops and designs a wide variety of consumer products. · Building designs for new products. · Consideration of the user experience for each product type. · Conducting market research for new product design ideas. · Collaborate with the teams to conceptualize and create compelling graphic designs that align with the brand, attraction, and events. · Creating digital or print drawings and designing fully functional retail products. · Setting design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners. · Research materials and techniques. · Collaborate with the teams to conceptualize and create compelling designs that align with the Harry Potter brand, attraction, and events.

Ensure all designs are consistent with the Harry Potter IP brand guidelines. · Work closely with the VM, Retail Merchandise and operations teams to ensure cohesive designs across all departments.

Qualifications

Essential:

• University Degree or equivalent in design.
• Experience using CAD programs.
• Experience using illustrator or Sketch.
• Must have experience working with Harry Potter product development.
• Experience working within Brand Guidelines and IPs.
• Experience working with brands across the GCC.
• Experience working with License/IP.
• Decision making.
• Problem solving mindset
• Proactive.
• Proficiency in writing, speaking, and understanding the English language
• Knowledge and understanding of computer programs.
• Adaptability, comfortable with change in a fast-paced environment.
• Multitasking skills - Ability to work in a fast paced, fun, and busy environment managing multiple deadlines.

Desirable: ·

• Proficiency in other languages a plus.
• 10 years in Design.
• Masters in design
