The opportunity

You will help clients determine the best way to test the enterprise-wide applications to optimize business processes leveraging Pega development/test platform

Your Key Responsibilities

• Work effectively as a team lead, share responsibility, provide support, maintain communication and update senior team members on progress of tasks
• Continuously strive towards exceeding client & team expectations and work on increasingly complex assignments
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client/onsite personnel
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide status updates
• Ensure on-time test execution of allocated user stories/functional points
• Participate in test planning, test strategy, test data preparation and test execution
• Compliance to EY policies and procedures like Timesheet / Leaves management etc.
• Ensuring adherence to quality protocols specified for the project
• Update SIT/UAT test scripts and ensure high quality deliverables
• Building of Test Automation capabilities and re-usable components
  
  

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills along with experience in producing high quality reports, work papers, and presentations.
• Participating in the organization-wide people initiatives.
• Hands on experience on at least 3-4 medium-large size projects
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Ensures testing complies all application design specifications. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and enhancement of software
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and represent Testing team
• Provide go/no go decisions on production implementations of new and modified software, based on project quality
• Experience of relational database and hands-on experience in PL/SQL
• Should cross skill and cross train as per the business requirements.
  
  

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Total 4-7 years of testing experience out of which 3 years in Pega projects
• Leads the design and execution of QA test plans and validation procedures
• Hands-on experience in Test Management tools - JIRA/ALM/Azure etc…
• Hands-on experience in Pega Clipboard, SOAP UI, Postman tools
• Establish automation strategy for the application suite and implement the automation to reduce the testing cycle
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Knowledge of Pega Developer & Admin Portals, debugging tools is a plus
• Mentoring junior resources and enable them with Pega trainings and certifications
• Hands-on experience in writing SQL queries, Unix/Linux commands
• Building of Test Automation and Accelerators
  
  

Ideally, you should also have

• B.E/B.Tech (Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunications, Comp. Science)/MCA with a minimum of 1 years of experience with Big 4 or panelled SI/ ITeS companies
• Experience on any one of the Pega Frameworks such as CDH, CLM, CRM, SD etc… would be added advantage
• Test Lead who is familiar with Project Quality Management aspects
• Knowledge on Release Management concepts & Pega Deployment Manager
• Pega CSA/CPBA/ISTQB/Scrum Master Certified
