Full Stack Engineer

Role: Fullstack Developer

Location: Sydney, NSW

Must have:

• 5+ years in React.JS
• 4+ years in Node.JS

Key accountabilities for this job role and requirements a job applicant must satisfy include:

• Have at least three years of experience in developing and deploying enterprise-level applications.

• Have experience with micro-frontend or large-scale frontend architecture.

• Build and maintain features using React JS, TypeScript, Node.js, and Java Spring Boot.

• Review and document iterative improvements in existing and new applications.

• Integrate frontend applications with third-party/backend systems, coordinating with different teams to deliver results.

• Engage directly with the business stakeholders involved in the project.

• Deliver software solutions according to the requirements.

• Work individually and in teams.

• Write efficient, clean, tested, and well-documented code ready for reuse by others.

• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability across various platforms and devices.

• Participate in tool and technology selection processes and create proof-of-concept models for new technologies and approaches.

• Formulate the technical design and evaluate effort estimates.

• Adhere to Optus policies and guidelines while delivering operational results.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor or Master degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science major.

EXPERIENCE

Required experience, understanding, or credentials:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in developing enterprise-grade web applications.

• Experience with agile software delivery methodologies.

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.

• Proven expertise in layered architecture.

• Demonstrated success working effectively with business representatives.

• Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.

• Proven ability to implement unit and automated tests.

• Experience with Git, Stash, or other major source control systems.

• Proven ability to innovate and execute effective technical solutions under high-pressure situations.

Desired experience, understanding, or credentials:

• Experience working within a large software development team.

• Telco industry experience.

• Understanding of SOA Restful APIs

• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or similar.

• Experience with code quality analysis tools like Sonar, or similar, is highly desirable.

• Experience with distributed source code management systems, such as Git.
