Junior Business Analyst

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Junior Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic and innovative environment, playing a key role in transforming challenges faced by teachers and students into viable solutions. This position entails maintaining our product backlog, articulating requirements, analyzing workflows, and driving cross-team collaboration to deliver superior online learning experiences.

Responsibilities


  • Work closely with product leadership to integrate project goals and problem statements into the team’s workflow
  • Synthesize user research and UX session feedback into clear, actionable requirements and user stories
  • Write user stories that align with accessibility compliance and stakeholder inputs
  • Engage in continuous discovery, including competitive analysis and review of usage analytics
  • Coordinate cross-team communications to prioritize and clarify program-specific requirements
  • Lead agile ceremonies such as standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as the scrum master
  • Manage, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Ensure top-notch quality of user stories and features before release
  • Prepare and distribute release notes detailing new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
  • Prioritize customer-reported and production issues to enhance user satisfaction
  • Facilitate effective release management and communication with the team


Requirements


  • At least 6 months of experience in a business analyst or similar role
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education
  • Proficiency in Agile-based software development frameworks
  • Background in writing detailed user stories and performing user research
  • Competency in managing product backlogs and using tools like JIRA
  • Skills in cross-functional communication and coordination
  • Capability to work as a scrum master in leading various agile ceremonies
  • Familiarity with ed tech, education, or digital content development is advantageous

  • Experience in user empathy and managing customer feedback effectively
