Business Analyst

We are searching for a skilled Middle Business Analyst to enhance our dynamic team. In this role, you will leverage your seasoned analytical skills and deep understanding of agile methodologies to solve intricate challenges faced by teachers and students. Your insights will guide the development of innovative educational products that resonate with our users.

Responsibilities

Decompose complex customer issues into clear, actionable items
Transform insights from user research and analytics into detailed requirements and stories
Prioritize and refine the product backlog to align with strategic goals
Lead and optimize Agile processes, facilitating scrum and other Agile ceremonies
Streamline workflows and enhance processes to boost team efficiency
Coordinate efforts across diverse teams to ensure unified project direction
Convey project vision and objectives effectively to all stakeholders
Guarantee rigorous quality checks before feature deployment
Oversee defect management and ensure compliance with resolution timelines
Proactively identify and address team obstacles to sustain optimal performance
Create and distribute release notes to detail enhancements and resolutions

Requirements

2+ years of experience in business analysis
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related fields
Strong proficiency with Agile practices and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Demonstrated ability to draft critical user stories and define acceptance criteria
Skills in carrying out comprehensive competitive analysis and leveraging insights for product advancement
Proficiency in user experience research and translation of findings into impactful product features
Solid knowledge of managing, grooming, and prioritizing a product backlog
Experience in leading scrum teams through planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
Familiarity with overseeing release management procedures and stakeholder communications

Nice to have

Background in Ed Tech, Education, or Digital Content Development
Previous experience as a scrum master or in a comparable leadership role within Agile teams
Certifications in Agile methodologies such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
