We're launching a new SaaS fintech platform—there will be no legacy code, no bureaucracy, just a clean slate and full freedom to build something great.

This is a stealth project with the potential to redefine the industry. While we already operate a well-funded, profitable fintech business in the Baltic region, we’ve learned from our legacy platform. We are ready to start fresh with modern technology, common sense, and the best practices we’ve learned along the way.

Our goal is to build a scalable MVP (and beyond!) focusing on clean, maintainable tech. We’re big fans of React for the app and AWS for hosting, but we’re also open to ideas that make sense.

Who You Are?

A hands-on Lead Full-Stack Developer who can be both our new platform's architect and hands-on builder. This is a key role for someone who thrives on creating scalable systems from scratch, loves problem-solving and can bring a strong technical voice to the founding team.

You’ll be responsible for turning this vision into reality, playing a critical role in shaping the tech stack, coding the MVP, and ensuring the platform is built with scalability and efficiency in mind.

What You’ll Do

Design, architect, and build the core of a new SaaS platform, focusing on scalability and performance.

• Develop the MVP and potentially more, with a hands-on coding approach.
• Be the technical voice and reasoning for platform decisions, ensuring simplicity and pragmatism in all choices.
• Collaborate closely with the founding team to translate business goals into technical solutions.
• Set up and maintain hosting environments (preferably on AWS).
• Stay ahead of technology trends while avoiding unnecessary complexity (common sense > fancy tech).
• Establish coding standards, best practices, and development workflows.

What You Bring

• Strong full-stack development skills.
• Proficiency with React (or other modern front-end frameworks) and an ability to reason about front-end architecture.
• Experience hosting and deploying on AWS (or similar cloud providers).
• Open to discussing and recommending the best back-end technologies for the project.
• Ability to design and work with APIs (REST or GraphQL).
• Hands-on experience with modern development practices: CI/CD pipelines, clean code principles, and unit/integration testing.
