We are looking for a:
Senior UX/UI Designer
As a UX/UI Designer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the design system for the State’s e-government platform and applications. You will play a key role in ensuring accessibility compliance, improving user experiences, and fostering UX/UI best practices across teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain, and evolve the design system in Figma.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (WCAG, RGAA), UX best practices, and the graphic charter.
- Conduct UX audits and propose improvements for usability and performance.
- Develop and refine Figma components for seamless product team integration.
- Lead UX workshops (Design Thinking, Co-Creation, User Journey Mapping).
- Create interactive prototypes and conduct user tests.
- Support development teams by ensuring UX/UI consistency across projects.
- Analyze user data to improve design decisions.
- Promote UX/UI best practices and agile methodologies across teams.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design.
- Advanced expertise in Figma and experience in design system implementation.
- Strong knowledge of digital accessibility (WCAG, RGAA).
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Ability to guide and mentor other designers in design system usage.
- Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Tech Leads, and Developers.
- UX certification (UX-PM, NN/g UX Certification, Google UX Design Certificate).
- Fluency in English is required; French is a strong plus.
Nice to have:
- Experience in employee experience (EX) or customer experience (CX).
- Knowledge of Material Design and front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Vue3).
- Experience working in the public sector or with OCSIN Geneva.
- Familiarity with agile environments.
- Curiosity and a passion for improving user experiences.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
