Data Analyst
Location: Malmo, Sweden. Hybrid Working (Required onsite 1/2 Days per week)
Duration: Initial 7 month contract + opportunity to extend long-term

Background
- The Marketing Performance role is crucial as it embodies a data-driven decision-making approach to marketing and the business overall. Marketing plays a significant role in influencing overall business metrics, by building a strong brand and driving consumer visitation across all channels.
- The Marketing Performance team is part of the Global Marketing division, with a Marketing Performance leader present in nearly every country. Additionally, there is a dedicated Marketing Performance team within the Digital division that helps with automating processes and additional opportunities in analysis.
- In light of the additional initiatives planned for the upcoming year, we are seeking a talented consultant who has strong analytical skills and like to improve processes
Required experience/skill:
- We are seeking for a data analyst with expertise within Data Specialist
- Advanced data analysis of the performance of marketing activities across countries
- Conduct in-depth analysis of using advanced statistical tools and software such as SQL, Python, and Excel.
- Leverage multiple data sources to assess the performance of marketing activities and identify opportunities to either scale across countries or take learning and provide recommendations to improve future performance
- Support comprehensive reporting frameworks that provide regular and actionable insights into overall commercial performance and marketing’s contribution to that performance.
- Leverage data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar platforms to present findings clearly and compellingly.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analysis and reporting processes.
- Identify gaps and opportunities to improve marketing performance follow up and reporting
- Work with country teams to improve and standardize the reporting of marketing performance
- Identify areas where data quality improvements are most needed, document use cases
- Identify new metrics improving the tracking and coaching of performance across countries
- Provide recommendations and support development and improved data enablement with global teams.
- Collaborate closely with Integrated Media, Customer Engagement/CRM, Data & Analytics, and Digital teams to align measurement strategies with broader Marketing objectives.
- Preparing Global Learning summaries together with performance roles across global Marketing team to provide strategic insights and recommendations for global direction
Responding to ad-hoc requests, e.g:
- Analyses requested across all countries of specific marketing efforts
- Collaborating with specific countries in following up new, interesting and/or unique activities generating high performance
- Preparing input to Marketing Performance Community and other global Marketing country calls.
Qualifications:
- Experience in marketing analytics, performance evaluation, media and/or financial measurement.
- Strong experience in analytical techniques and evaluating multiple research sources to identify performance opportunities and drive business insights.
- Strong background in managing stakeholder relationships and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Most important:
- Advanced proficiency in statistical tools and software such as SQL, R, Python, and Excel.
- Expertise in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio or similar.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all levels.
- Strong project management skills with a focus on delivering impactful results.
