Currently, for our Client, we are looking for Candidates for the position of:

DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Remote work: 100% remote

Contract type: B2B contract through Hays Poland

Rate: 150 net/h + VAT

Working hours: standard

Technology stack:

AWS Cloud, Terraform, Docker/Kubernetes, Ansible

Responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing, and managing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS
• Managing and maintaining code repositories using GIT
• Automating configuration management tasks using Ansible
• Creating and maintaining Docker containers for application deployment
• Writing and maintaining Terraform and AWS CloudFormation scripts to automate infrastructure
• Configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy

What we expect:

• AWS Cloud Services: Hands-on experience with key AWS services such as EC2, VPC, RDS, ELB, Route 53, EFS, S3, and Athena.
• Version Control System: GIT
• Configuration Management Tools: Ansible
• Containerization: Docker
• Orchestration tools: Kubernetes
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Tools: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation
• DevOps CI/CD: Proficiency in CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy for streamlined deployment and automation.
• Monitoring & Observability: Familiarity with monitoring solutions like AppDynamics and CloudWatch for proactive system health monitoring.
• Ticketing & Collaboration Tools: Experience with Jira and ServiceNow for incident management and collaboration.
• Operating Systems: Strong expertise in Linux; familiarity with Windows OS is a plus.
• Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
• Experience in Troubleshooting Java/JVM applications: Heap dump analysis, handling memory leakage issues.

Nice to have:

• Middleware: High-level understanding of middleware tools like Tomcat, Kafka, Zookeeper, Hopewiser, SmartComm, Radar, MongoDB, MuleSoft, and Guidewire.
