Job Title: Network Engineer
Location: Burnaby, BC,(Onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Description:
Core Skills:
- Routing Protocols: Expertise in BGP, OSPF, and other dynamic routing protocols.
- VPN: Experience with various VPN technologies and configurations.
- NAT Security: Knowledge of Network Address Translation and related security practices.
- Palo Alto Firewall: Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
- Nexus Switching: Proficiency with Cisco Nexus switches.
- Switching Protocols: Understanding of VLANs, STP, and other switching protocols.
- Wireless: Experience with wireless network technologies.
- Cisco ISE: Familiarity with Cisco Identity Services Engine.
- Cloud: Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Additional Skills:
- ASA Firewall or Palo Alto firewalls: either Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls or Palo Alto firewalls.
Scripting: Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
