Role Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Pints.ai. As part of our journey to revolutionize the financial sector with cutting-edge AI solutions, you will play a critical role in shaping the development of innovative products and state-of-the-art AI systems. Your contributions will directly impact our mission of building an advanced LLM stack and AI tools that rival industry leaders.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where innovation thrives, and the boundaries of technology are constantly being pushed. As a key member of our team, you will have the autonomy and responsibility to drive product development from concept to deployment.

Your responsibilities will span across:

Software Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions, including both AI pipelines and front-end user interfaces.
• Build scalable, secure, and efficient systems to support our AI solutions, ensuring seamless integration and deployment on client systems (on-premise or cloud).

AI Engineering:

• Work on the research, development, and implementation of advanced AI/ML models, focusing on novel NLP solutions and large language models (LLMs).
• Collaborate closely with our AI engineer team to integrate cutting-edge algorithms into production-grade systems.

Product Research & Development:

• Engage in the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.
• Experiment with new technologies and methodologies to ensure we stay ahead of the curve in AI and software development.

Client-Facing Work:

• Gather requirements and feedback from clients to shape product features and improvements.
• Act as a liaison to ensure project milestones and deliverables meet client expectations.
• Occasionally lead project management activities for client engagements.

Requirements

We believe great talent comes in many forms, so we don’t require formal academic qualifications. Whether you hold a NITEC, Diploma, Bachelor’s, or any other certification, what matters most to us is your passion, skills, and willingness to learn.

We’re looking for individuals who possess the following:

Technical Proficiency in areas such as:

• Solid understanding of software development principles, with hands-on experience in web development and related technologies.
• Familiarity with tools and practices such as Docker, DevOps pipelines, and version control systems like Git.
• Experience working with React (or similar frontend frameworks) and Express.js (or equivalent backend frameworks).
• PostgreSQL

Programming Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript is preferred. However, we welcome developers skilled in other languages, provided they demonstrate a strong ability and enthusiasm to learn new technologies and frameworks.

Problem-Solving Mindset:

• Comfortable dealing with ambiguities and uncertainties, especially in building products from scratch (0 to 1).
• A proactive approach to experimenting, iterating, and creating solutions for real-world challenges.

AI Enthusiasm:

• A genuine interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning, with an eagerness to work on groundbreaking technologies like NLP and LLMs.

Collaborative Spirit:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Open to engaging with clients to gather requirements, share ideas, and manage projects where necessary.
