Network Administrator

Role: Network Administrator

Location: Onsite - Portland Metropolitan

Position Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: $29-37/hr.

Ledgent Technology is anticipating upcoming opportunities with local clients and is seeking skilled Network Administrators to join our talent pool. We encourage qualified professionals to express their interest in potential upcoming roles.

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure network reliability.
• Manage and maintain network security, including firewall configurations, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
• Administer DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and other core network services.
• Assist with system upgrades, migrations, and network infrastructure improvements.
• Implement and enforce network policies, security protocols, and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support cloud and on-premises network environments.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations, procedures, and support processes.
  
  

• Experience in network administration, IT infrastructure, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF).
• Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, or other enterprise networking equipment.
• Familiarity with network security tools, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• IT certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, JNCIA, etc.) are highly desirable.
