Trace Systems is actively recruiting for a Human Resources Support Specialist to perform duties at the Battalion S-1 in Qatar. The ideal candidate will collect and provide information to the Higher Headquarters S-1/G1 Offices as required. The candidate shall be responsible for submission, tracking and reconciliation of all Electronic Military Personnel Office (EMILPO) reports. This position will monitor the Deployed Theater Accountability Software (DTAS) and be responsible for timely and efficient mechanism for tracking and providing visibility of deployed soldiers, contractors and Department of Army civilians (DAC).
- Monitor and maintain Personnel Tempo (PERSTEMPO) data in accordance with established thresholds.
- Review correspondence for accuracy in accordance with pertinent Army regulations.
- Prepare military awards, to include completing necessary forms and certificates and review, for accuracy, awards recommendations submitted by the companies.
- Process leave and pay actions.
- Perform unit level mail clerk duties.
- Process Soldier requests and actions to obtain a large variety of entitlements, schools, Foreign Service tour extensions and curtailments.
- Review and update Soldier records such as iPerms and Soldier record briefs for accuracy and assist if correction is required.
- Provide Enlisted Personnel Promotion Processing at the Battalion level.
- Conduct Soldier in-processing.
- Conduct personnel reassignment processing.
- Conduct personnel out-processing.
- Due to Qatar's immigration and labor regulations, Qatar work visas cannot be issued to individuals aged 60 or over, and are not subject to a waiver. Additionally, foreign nationals aged 60 or older are unable to renew their Qatari visa or change sponsors. Therefore, per Qatar work visa regulations, candidates must be 59 years of age or younger to be eligible for a Qatari work visa as required for this position.
- Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
- Due to the nature of the work and US Government requirements, US Citizenship is required.
- Word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Adobe PDF, Share Point).
- Human Resources Command (HRC) personnel systems.
- Personnel Tempo (PERSTEMPO) processes and procedures.
- Military Awards approval process.
- Records Management thru Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS).
- Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A) transaction submission, error correction and understanding the numerous reports.
- Personnel Strength Management.
- DTAS “three tiered” architecture the Enterprise Database; the Theater Database and the Mobile System.
- High School diploma or GED
