Trade Finance Manager

Role Statement

The Trade Finance Manager is responsible for supervising the day-to-day functions of Trade Finance Operations, ensuring compliance with banking policies, regulatory requirements, and international trade finance standards. The role involves managing Import and Export Letters of Credit (LCs), Import and Export Collections, Letters of Guarantee (LGs), Bill Discounting, and Loan Against Trust Receipts (LTRs), while maintaining operational efficiency, risk management, and exceptional customer service.

Trade Finance Operations & Supervisio

• n:Oversee day-to-day processing of Import and Export LCs, Collections, LTRs, Bill Discounting, and LG
• s.Ensure timely and accurate processing of trade finance transactions, maintaining TAT and SLAs with zero breache
• s.Supervise the processors handling transaction inputs, ensuring proper scanning, recording, and approval
• s.Ensure regulatory and compliance-related scrutiny of all trade transactions before approval
• s.Monitor and authorize trade finance transactions, ensuring correctness in financial, technical, and regulatory aspect
• s.Ensure thorough checking of L/C documents and discrepancy messages are communicated to relevant parties without dela
• y.Oversee SWIFT message processing for inward and outward payment
• s.Ensure timely payment processing, approvals, and reconciliation with relevant partie
