Our technology services client is seeking multiple Scrum Master & Agile Coach to join their team on a contract basis. These positions offer a strong potential for conversion to full-time employment upon completion of the initial contract period. Below are further details about the role:

Role: Scrum Master & Agile Coach

Experience: 6-10 Years

Location: Pune Locals Only

Notice Period: Immediate-15 Days

Job Description:

• Facilitate the Agile development process as a Scrum Master for one or more teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices.
• Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to prioritize backlog items and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Shield the team from external distractions and impediments to maintain focus and productivity during sprints.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging feedback, and implementing process enhancements.
• Coach team members on Agile methodologies, helping them understand their roles and responsibilities within the Scrum framework.
• Track and report on key Agile metrics, such as sprint velocity, burndown charts, and team performance, to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to share best practices and drive organizational Agile maturity.
• Serve as a leader, promoting self-organization and empowerment within the team while providing guidance and support as needed.
• Act as a liaison between the development team and other stakeholders, facilitating communication and ensuring transparency.

Preferred Skill Set

Primary

• Comprehensive Understanding of Scrum Values, Principles, and Practices.
• Proficiency in Project Management Methodologies
• Issue Resolution and Impediment Removal
• Familiarity with Agile Tools software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Stakeholder Management and Communication
• Time Management and Prioritization
• Continuous Improvement Mindset

Secondary

• Knowledge of CI/CD
• Technical Product and Processes Knowledge
• Agile Metrics and Reporting
• Strong Project Management Skills (PMBOK or PRINCE2)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 6-8 years of experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully leading Agile teams and delivering high-quality software products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working with distributed teams and handling remote collaboration tools.
• Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira, Rally, or Trello.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to address team dynamics and resolve conflicts effectively.
• A continuous learner mindset, staying updated on Agile best practices and industry trends.
