NOC Engineer

About this opportunity:

We are excited to present a dynamic opportunity at the forefront of the IT industry for an NOC Engineer. As part of our team, you will play an integral role in testing, administering, troubleshooting, and supporting our wide-ranging customer application systems. Through your expert knowledge and detailed manual or automated Test case design, you will provide essential services that meet and surpass customer requests. With an exciting blend of hands-on, you will serve as a valuable addition to our versatile, customer-oriented team.

Job Profile / Roles

NOC engineer will be managing the day-to-day Delivery for the L1 and L1.5 NOC Teams.

Should act as the First point of contact for all the escalations and respond/act and fix it on priority.

Should have an intermediate level knowledge of Infrastructure Platforms, Preferred in VMware, and Windows.

Also have a prior experience of People Management, Basic to Intermediate.

Should be comfortable in working in fast paced, dynamic and 24/7 Environment. Basic understanding and Experience of Stakeholder Management.,

Able to react to change productively and handle another essential task as assigned.

Skills

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills in English

Enthusiasm for providing outstanding customer service

Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

Presents himself/herself in a highly professional, competent manner

Ability to work calmly under pressure, multitask and prioritize

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Patience to solve technical problems with end users of varying technical aptitudes

Ethics in the Workplace

Able to work with many tasks simultaneously and keep track

Team Building Practices, Principles, and Issues

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office

Experience in the following technologies would be considered a strong asset:

Citrix Certification (CCA Certified)

Microsoft, VMware, and Linux

CCNA Certified

ITIL v3 Certified (Desired)
