This role involves proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management across LAN, WLAN, WAN, and DDI services.

  • Monitor, deploy, and troubleshoot LAN switches and devices (e.g., routers, access points).
  • Configure VLANs, ACLs, SNMP, and other network protocols for segmentation and security, Segmentation and Zoning Management in DMZ environment.
  • Handle LAN lifecycle management, fault resolution, and firmware updates.
  • Optimize router and switch performance, manage capacity, and address errors like packet loss.
  • Support and design WLAN topologies, including SSID provisioning and Cisco ISE integration.
  • Manage WLAN lifecycle, troubleshoot faults, and perform firmware updates.
  • Configure and manage WAN/SD-WAN, ensuring service levels with ISPs.
  • Optimize WAN traffic with dynamic path selection, prioritization of critical applications, and load balancing.
  • Manage edge devices, enforce security policies, and oversee zero-touch provisioning.
  • Manage DNS, DHCP, and IP address configurations and monitoring.
  • Must have hands-on experience working with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus series switches, Cisco Wireless, DNAC, SD-WAN and Cisco Edge Routers such as ISR, ASR Catalyst series routers.
  • Proficiency in Python and Ansible for network automation is considered a plus.
  • The engineer is expected to work independently and take full ownership of assigned tasks.
  • The engineer must be flexible to work in a 24/7 shift environment.
