More about the role:
Darktrace are looking to add to our team of Internal SOC Analysts. This dynamic role involves being on the frontline of defending our organization using Darktrace’s proprietary security tools for network, cloud, email, endpoint and zero trust applications. Your daily responsibilities will involve the triage, investigation and response to security events from our security stack tooling alongside answering potential security concerns from internal security tickets from the wider business.
This hybrid role can be worked from either our Cambridge or London offices and would require you to attend the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
This is a junior role which encompasses a diverse array of subject areas which will see you making quick decisions as a critical part of incident response. You will be given training and support as you develop in the role, potentially specializing to support wider team functions. Due to the nature of an ever-changing environment, strong analytic and deduction skills are required, combined with a passion to learn and adapt to new and emerging threats. As a company that prides ourselves on our reactive capabilities, we are looking for someone who is able to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
What experience do I need:
You will demonstrate a passion for technology and have equivalent experience or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. If you can showcase additional learning such as IT or Cyber Certifications that could be beneficial. You'll also come with:
