About the Role:

As our Network Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and optimizing our critical network infrastructure. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies while ensuring our systems meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.

We're looking for someone who will:

- Lead technical IT support initiatives to optimise system performance and minimise downtime

- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex network issues, working directly with vendors and internal teams

- Take ownership of high-priority incidents (Severity 1 and 2) and drive them to resolution

- Implement and maintain network monitoring tools, backup systems, and alert mechanisms

- Develop comprehensive documentation and reports for network management

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and audit standards

- Participate in our 24x7 on-call support rotation to maintain continuous service

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

- 2-5 years of hands-on experience in IT/network support

- Deep expertise in:

- LAN/WAN infrastructure

- Cisco technologies

- Firewall management

- Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

- Network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, VPN)

- Vendor tools (Fortinet, Citrix)

- Proven experience working in regulated environments (ISO 27001 compliance)

- Strong documentation and reporting skills

- Track record of successful problem resolution
