Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for talented people to design, develop and support application solutions.

This role requires the ability to design, develop and/or re-engineer highly complex application components, to integrate software packages, programs and reusable objects scattered on multiple platforms.

Your work will power IBM and its clients globally, bringing innovation into enterprise systems. You will have access to the latest education, tools and technology, and a career path within the world’s technology leader company.

As a Senior Mainframe Developer you will be responsible for the management of all aspects of data and information (both structured and unstructured) from business requirements to logical and physical design in a IT solution.

About You

• You have recently graduated or have a few years of experience within the area of development
• An ambitious individual who can work under your own direction towards agreed targets and goals
• You have the ability to manage change and to work in a high paced environment
• You are curious to learn as demonstrated by your up-to-date technical knowledge.
• You are a good team player and you are familiar with Agile methodologies and principles and/or have experience working in an Agile team.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Several years of experience in development & maintenance environments involving e.g. COBOL, z/OS, CICS/IMS, PL1, DB2, batch jobs using JCL
• Ability to handle daily scrums and work closely with leads and scrum master and product owners to provide status on timely basis
• Ability to prepare install scripts and code promotion procedure as well as build automation
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French (written and spoken)
