We are now looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the team. We are providing central information systems for managing medical data in different-sized hospitals, and you would help to increase healthcare professionals' efficiency so they could provide the best support for patients. In your role, you will work very closely with Estonian biggest hospitals like Tartu Ülikooli Kliinikum and Ida-Tallinna Keskhaigla.

You will have a small platform team with people in closely related roles supporting you, and architects from platform and development teams to help you design solutions and processes you are responsible for.

This is a full time position, based in Estonia (please note that we don't offer relocation support) and Estonian language is required. You can work from one of our office locations (Tallinn and Tartu), but the job can also be done mostly remotely.

Responsibilities

You will be:

• Building and maintaining infrastructure solutions on client hardware to run software built by us
• Setting up and maintaining observability tooling for centralized logging, metrics and traces and making sure people are automatically notified in case of issues
• Working directly with infrastructure and networking departments of our clients
• Acting as the technical owner for project's infrastructure tasks and roadmap
• Providing guidelines and consultation to development teams regarding infrastructure for deploying and maintaining services they are building
• Automating your work where reasonable with applicable tools and CI/CD processes
• Managing access rights
• Writing and maintaining documentation
  
  
  

Qualifications

We are looking for:

• Experience with managing distributed production systems with high availability
• Being able to use scripting and automation tooling
• Ability to work with and manage Linux-based operating systems
• Basic knowledge of database administration
• Understanding of software development processes and tools
• Keeping information security in mind with everything you do
• Prior experience in IT for at least 1 year
• Communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent command in spoken and written Estonian and English
  
  
  

Good To Have

• Experience with running services on JVM
• Experience with running software on AWS or other cloud providers
• Being ready to participate in on-call rotations
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
