YOUR POSITION:

PYTHON ENGINEER

YOUR DUTIES:

  • Collaborate with data scientists to develop and maintain Python scripts for lending decision services
  • Design and maintain secure, scalable APIs for credit scoring, risk assessments, and customer data sharing across lending systems
  • Deploy and manage services on cloud platforms AWS and use Docker/Kubernetes for containerization
  • Write tests and debug backend services to ensure smooth lending operations and accurate data processing


Requirements

  • Strong Proficiency in Python: Deep understanding of Python and its frameworks. Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
  • Experience with API Development: Ability to design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs to enable communication between various services and data layers
  • Database Management: Experience with SQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL). Ability to design efficient schemas and write complex queries
  • Data Pipelines and ETL: Proficiency in building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and working with data formats. Experience with tools like Airflow, Kafka is a plus
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience working with one of the cloud services
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for deploying and scaling applications
  • Testing & Debugging: Experience with writing unit and integration tests using frameworks along with excellent debugging skills
  • At least three years of experience working on complex projects or similar environments where large-scale data processing and backend system design are essential
