Data Analyst Summer Trainee, TECH

We are looking for a Data Analyst Summer Trainee to join Veikkaus' TECH Office team of Veikkaus gaming technology (TECH) function. We at TECH Office ensure TECH function's high-level performance by continuously developing our operating models, processes, methods, systems and metrics. As a summer trainee, you will help us with data and analytics related to e.g. development projects and software development.

Do you have experience in analyzing data and metrics? Are you keen of Product management and are Project and Program management methods and Agile development? If you answered yes, you could be the person we are looking for!

Duties Include

• Creating metrics and graphics to Atlassian Jira and Microsoft Power BI, covering the entire life cycle of the product development
• Analyzing data in Jira of the projects and product development
• Analyzing projects and product resource and financial data in Oracle ERP
• Working in cooperation mainly with TECH Office team, for example with Development Manager, Portfolio Manager & Specialist and Project Management Office.
• Participating in the development of Veikkaus' TECH management processes, tools and practices so that we are the best workplace in the gaming industry!
  
  

Our Minimum Expectations Include

• Experience of the Data analysis and agile KPI metrics
• Experience of the ticketing systems, such as Atlassian Jira
• Experience of data visualization and reporting platform, such as Microsoft Power BI
• Solution- and service-oriented attitude and resilience
• Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills in Finnish and English
  
  

As An Additional Merit We Consider

• References/evidence of using PowerBi and experience in using data migration tools
• Knowledge of agile project management and software development methods
• Money gaming or entertainment gaming industry expertise

Our office is located in Pohjois-Haaga, Helsinki, Finland. Partial remote working (hybrid model) is also possible, but we do expect our team members present minimum three days a week.

The summer trainee position is organized flexibly between beginning of May 2025 and end of August 2025, depending on successful candidate’s availability.

The person selected for the position will undergo a drug test and a basic security clearance in accordance with the Security Clearance Act (726/2014).
