Lead AI Engineer | Köln | Machine Learning | Surrogate Solver

AI Futures have been exclusively retained to find a first class AI Engineer. The salary will be up to €150k and with a clear progression to Head of AI. The company work with several big names within the Manufacturing industry and have VC funding with a vision to grow the business by 3 times within the next 2 years. If you would be interested in a greenfield project with a broad scope of AI use cases then this could before you.

The Role:

• Lead the creation, testing, and upkeep of greenfield AI uses cases such as; building surrogate solvers, chatbot creation, marketing and process efficiency
• Work with a team of engineers, leading them and spearheading these projects.
• Liaise with stakeholders and upper management on future projects, budgets etc...
• Report directly to the CTO, but with full ownership over the AI functions within the company.
• Build a team underneath to assist in the advancement of the technology within the company.

The Candidate:

• 2+ years of experience as an AI Engineer
• Good knowledge of Python and ML Algorithms
• Strong experience working with SQL
• Recent experience working in a cloud environment e.g AWS, Azure or GCP (AWS is preferred)
• Strong mathematical and algorithmic mindset
• Fluency in English

Fixed salary up to €150K.
