PHP Technical Lead

We are seeking a PHP Technical Lead to drive software development, maintain critical systems, and ensure IT stability. This role involves leading development efforts, optimizing system performance, and mentoring a team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable PHP applications.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs for seamless system integrations.
• Implement front-end solutions using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable code following SOLID principles and Domain-Driven Design.

System Support & Optimization

• Troubleshoot and enhance existing applications.
• Manage and optimize MySQL databases for performance and scalability.
• Maintain clear system documentation and workflow processes.
• Support critical business systems, including EDI integrations.

Leadership & Team Collaboration

• Guide and mentor developers, ensuring best practices and timely project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both internal and external, to align technical solutions with business needs.
• Act as a key backup for the IT Manager when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of full-stack PHP development experience.
• Strong expertise in PHP frameworks (Slim, Symfony, Laravel).
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Deep understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and MySQL database design.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, Git, CI/CD pipelines, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
