Software Engineer

Job Description



We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer who will be responsible for writing exceptional code and leading software delivery by applying standards and working with cross-functional teams. You will be involved in all phases of the software release process and actively participate in continuous system improvement activities.



Responsibilities

• Write consistently great code requiring no syntax/convention feedback.
• Accurately estimate development effort.
• Engage in continuous code and system improvement activities to enhance fault tolerance.
• Implement extensible interface contracts to provide scalable and reliable micro-services.
• Lead software delivery by collaborating with cross-functional teams and various technology stacks.
• Design and implement full stack solutions using NodeJs, React, MongoDB, and AWS.
• Participate in the software release process from design to implementation and production.
• Enhance delivery systems with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Provide support for application issues, diagnose problems, and develop solutions.

Essential Skills

• BSc. in Computer Science or a similar engineering discipline.
• 8-10 years of software engineering experience in building and implementing high performance and scalable server-side applications.
• Hands-on experience in implementing full stack solutions.
• Strong experience with modern technologies such as NodeJs, Python, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue, HTML5, CSS, Kotlin, and Springboot.
• Applied experience in Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) and best practices.
• Self-starter with strong communication skills.
• Critical evaluation of problems to propose the best approach, and ability to lead and drive engineering best practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in designing, developing, and deploying highly scalable APIs on major cloud platforms.
• Experience with Lean/Agile development methodologies (XP preferred).
• Hands-on experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) and source code management tools (Git, BitBucket, Harness).
