About The Job

As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in designing and developing scalable, high-quality solutions for our fintech applications. Your work will directly impact critical areas such as compliance reporting and risk assessment.

As a Part Of The Team Working On Internal Tech Development, You Will Be Working On Tasks Such As, But Not Limited To

• Developing serverless functions using Node.js and TypeScript to build efficient, cloud-based solutions.
• Improving development practices by focusing on testing, code quality, and reliability.
• Driving Test-Driven Development (TDD) to enhance product stability and build trust in our systems.
• Building and maintaining cloud-based microservices, ensuring seamless integration and performance.
• Developing APIs and backend systems tailored for fintech applications, handling complex data processing needs.
• Mentoring and supporting teammates, contributing to a collaborative, skilled, and inclusive team environment.
  
  

Background And Experience

• 2+ years of professional backend development experience
• Experience in Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience with serverless architecture and functions
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and best practices for testing and code quality
• Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to mentor others
