Engineer AS Mainframe (m/f/d)

We are seeking a skilled AS Mainframe Engineer with a focus on Batch Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing batch changes, managing production deployments, and ensuring the smooth operation of batch processing activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design, test, and implement batch changes through development partitions, moving into production under robust change management processes.
• Pilot and administer TWS (Tivoli Workload Scheduler).
• Develop, implement, and document operational processes and procedures.
• Oversee real-time batch control.
• Manage production deployment through E-GEN or Cortex.
• Identify and resolve issues related to scheduling activities, such as production batch issues.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in batch scripting (JCL & REXX).
• Mandatory knowledge and experience with Cortex (Cortex from Roquet Software).
• Ability to troubleshoot system software and connectivity issues.
• Fluency in French and English is required.
