Task Responsibilities:

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as the Manager of BI Data & Architecture. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape and enhance the reporting ecosphere of Cargolux, driving innovation and excellence. As a key leader, you will:

Technical Expertise:
Manage and optimize SAP BW/4 HANA environments, ensuring efficient data warehousing and reporting.
Oversee the integration and utilization of Azure Synapse for advanced analytics and machine learning.
Ensure the effective use of BusinessObjects (BO) for reporting and dashboarding.
Project Management:
Lead BI projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
Data Governance & Quality:
Implement data governance policies to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.
Monitor data quality and implement measures to address data issues proactively.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest BI technologies and trends.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance BI processes and tools.
Foster a culture of innovation within the team.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for BI-related queries and issues.
Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide updates on BI initiatives.

Essential Requirements For The Position:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Extensive experience in BI and data architecture roles (minimum 7 years)
Proven experience with SAP BW/4 HANA, Azure Synapse, and BusinessObjects.
Strong project management skills with a track record of successful BI project delivery.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in data governance and quality management.
