Java Developer – Arnhem (Hybrid) – 6-Month Contract
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Java Developer to join a dynamic team working on a crucial B2B gateway application that facilitates message traffic between market parties.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and manage a key B2B gateway application.
- Contribute to the transition to modern technologies (Quarkus, Kafka, cloud migration).
- Optimize performance, security, and maintainability.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborate closely with the team.
- Participate in an on-call breakdown service (after an induction period).
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of Java/Java EE experience.
- Strong knowledge of architectural principles, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Extensive experience with SOAP, REST, XML signing.
- Experience with Quarkus, Kafka, Java 17.
- Hands-on expertise in Continuous Delivery, automated testing, Jenkins, Git, Maven, Cucumber.
- Knowledge of Ansible, Nginx, Docker, Bash, and Groovy.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch & English (B2 level).
- Willingness to work at least two days per week in Arnhem (Tuesdays required).
- Ability to pass a VOG and UVO screening.
