Java Developer - Project in the Energy Sector

Location: Arnhem (Hybrid: 2 days/week in the office)

Hours: 32-40 hours per week

Contract Duration: Until August 2025 (with potential extension)

Start Date: March 2025

We're looking for a passionate Java Developer to join a fast-paced and innovative team. This is your chance to contribute to a ground-breaking project that plays a crucial role in the energy transition. Get involved in the development of a critical B2B gateway application that supports communication between key players in the energy sector.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and manage mission-critical applications
• Contribute to the shift towards modern technologies like Quarkus, Kafka, and cloud migrations
• Ensure performance, security, and sustainability of systems
• Work in a dynamic Agile/Scrum environment
• Participate in on-call support (after training)

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of Java development experience (Java/Java EE)
• Solid experience with SOAP, REST, and XML signing mechanisms
• Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Git, and Maven
• Knowledge of Quarkus, Kafka, Java 17, Docker, and more!
• A collaborative mindset, willing to work closely with your team and stakeholders
• Dutch & English proficiency (B2 level or higher)
