Information about the position

Join Vinted's Programs team, where we drive impactful initiatives across the Marketplace. Our team focuses on high-impact projects that span multiple product domains, including new categories like Electronics and Luxury Fashion, with pioneering services like item verification. We also handle Geographical Expansion and M&A Integrations. Each initiative is led by dedicated Program leaders and collaboratively executed with product teams to achieve success.

As a Senior Data Analyst in the Programs team, you will support these high-impact initiatives from inception to execution. Your role will be pivotal in making data-driven decisions, aiding product development, prioritising opportunities, establishing best practices for experimentation, and defining key metrics and OKRs. Working closely with the Manager of Data Science and Analytics for Programs, you’ll ensure our initiatives run smoothly and effectively.

This role offers ample opportunities to contribute to long-term vision, collaborate with a talented team, and help establish streamlined processes. Given the cross-functional nature of our programs, you'll frequently work with stakeholders across Product domains, the Strategy team, and Marketplace Leadership, making a tangible impact on our company's growth trajectory. In this position, you’ll

• Contribute data analysis projects focused on high-impact programs
• Promote sound experimentation practices
• Contribute to programs’ strategies
• Analyze our internal data to uncover data insights, and translate these to concrete business opportunities
• Communicate findings and recommendations pro-actively to stakeholders
• Ensure data quality
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and address analytical needs
  
  

About You

• Derive energy from solving complex problems in a highly dynamic and ambiguous environment
• Care deeply about making data-informed decisions to shape the Progams’ strategy
• Have at least 2+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Econometrics, (Applied) Mathematics, or another related field (equivalent working experience is also acceptable)
• Proficient in SQL and experienced with programming languages like Python or R
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience with data visualisation tools like Looker, Tableau or Power BI
• Advantage: Knowledge of eCommerce or marketplace dynamics
• Advantage: Experience in a startup or tech environment

The salary range for this position is € 49,700 - € 61,400 gross per year.
